Old Bexley & Sidcup is my home. I’ve lived In Bexley all my life, and my children go to local schools. I’m grounded in our local community, and I want to be a champion for you and for where we live.
I’m no stranger to an honest day’s work. My first job was at Bexleyheath M&S, and I worked for the company for 11 years. It taught me the dignity of work, and the importance of community. I also know the value of public service, having worked as a councillor in Bexley for 17 of the last 21 years. I’ve been a champion for local people and worked closely with community groups and local charities.
I’ve seen how the local Tory council has let people down in Old Bexley & Sidcup. I helped stop them when they tried to illegally withdraw school transport from disabled children and stood up to them spending your hard-earned money on expensive temporary accommodation instead of investing for the future. Their inaction led to the bin strikes and cuts to the service we all rely on.
Local people deserve better. Even if you’ve never voted for us before, please give my campaign a second look, and vote Labour.
